Supreme Royal Statuario, 12" x 24", is the everyday format, and it is popular for a reason: it covers ground quickly and still works around fixtures without a pile of offcuts. A honed surface sits between matte and polished: a little depth, none of the glare, and better underfoot than a full polish. Because it is porcelain the body is dense all the way through, so a chip does not show a different colour underneath the way it can on a glazed ceramic. The PEI 2 rating puts it in a bathroom or a bedroom. It is not rated for a hallway or a kitchen floor. Work on 11.63 sq ft a box. That puts a 100 sq ft floor at 10 boxes with ten percent in hand, which is what you want for cuts and breakage. Both the Mississauga and Barrie stores keep it out, so you can put it beside your cabinet door or a paint chip before you commit.
