Midgley West Supreme Royal Statuario Mosaic Tile 2"x2" - Honed

Pieces this small are what make a shower floor work, and The Supreme Royal Statuario in 2" x 2" is no exception: the mesh follows the fall to the drain instead of fighting it. Honed is the flat, soft sheen you get from grinding without buffing. It looks calmer than a polish and marks less obviously. Fired harder and denser than ceramic, porcelain copes with freeze and thaw as well, so a covered porch or a three season room is fair game. The PEI 2 rating puts it in a bathroom or a bedroom. It is not rated for a hallway or a kitchen floor. Each box covers 3.88 sq ft. For a 100 sq ft room order 29 and you have your ten percent for cuts and a couple spare for repairs later. Expect a lot of grout with a sheet this small, so the grout colour will do as much to the finished look as the tile does. Worth seeing in person in Mississauga or Barrie, because lighting changes tile more than people expect.
