Midgley West Supreme Exotic Brown Mosaic Tile 6"x6" Hexagon - Honed

The Supreme Exotic Brown in 6" x 6" is easier to work around a toilet flange or a tight corner than anything larger. A honed surface sits between matte and polished: a little depth, none of the glare, and better underfoot than a full polish. The low absorption is the reason porcelain ends up in wet rooms and entries. It takes water, salt and grit without complaint. The PEI 2 rating puts it in a bathroom or a bedroom. It is not rated for a hallway or a kitchen floor. A box holds 6.46 sq ft, so a 100 sq ft floor works out at 18 boxes once you add the usual ten percent for cuts and the odd broken piece. Worth seeing in person in Mississauga or Barrie, because lighting changes tile more than people expect.
