Midgley West Supreme Golden Calacatta Tile 24"x48" - Honed

Supreme Golden Calacatta at 24" x 48" is large format, so you get far fewer grout lines and a floor that reads as one surface rather than a grid. A honed surface sits between matte and polished: a little depth, none of the glare, and better underfoot than a full polish. Porcelain is fired dense enough that water is not an issue, indoors or in a sheltered spot outside. The PEI 2 rating puts it in a bathroom or a bedroom. It is not rated for a hallway or a kitchen floor. Work on 15.5 sq ft a box. That puts a 100 sq ft floor at 8 boxes with ten percent in hand, which is what you want for cuts and breakage. Worth seeing in person in Mississauga or Barrie, because lighting changes tile more than people expect.
