Midgley West Marquina Nero Tile 24"x48" - Polished

The Marquina Nero in 24" x 48" covers ground fast and leaves very little grout, which is most of the appeal. Budget for a flat substrate and a second pair of hands. Polished gives you the reflective surface, and the trade is grip: wet polished tile is slippery, so keep it off a wet floor and enjoy it on a wall or a dry room. Porcelain is fired dense all the way through, so a chip does not show a different colour underneath the way it can on a glazed ceramic. The PEI 2 rating puts it in a bathroom or a bedroom. It is not rated for a hallway or a kitchen floor. Work on 15.5 sq ft a box. That puts a 100 sq ft floor at 8 boxes with ten percent in hand, which is what you want for cuts and breakage. It is on display in Mississauga and Barrie if you want to see a full sheet rather than a photograph.
