Marmi Apuani Dark at 8" x 8" suits a small room. More grout lines than a big tile, but in a powder room or a laundry that is the point: fewer awkward cuts around the fixtures. The density is the point with porcelain: very little water gets in, which is what keeps it stable in a bathroom or a laundry.
