Midgley West Lilac Tile 24"x48" - Polished

The Lilac in 24" x 48" is large format, so you get far fewer grout lines and a floor that reads as one surface rather than a grid. The polish throws light around, which helps a dark room, but a polished face is slick once it is wet. Worth thinking twice before it goes on a shower floor or just inside a front door. Porcelain is fired dense all the way through, so a chip does not show a different colour underneath the way it can on a glazed ceramic. PEI 5 is the top of the wear scale. It will take commercial traffic without showing it. A box holds 31.01 sq ft, so a 100 sq ft floor works out at 4 boxes once you add the usual ten percent for cuts and the odd broken piece.
