Imperial Statuario, 1" x 1", is small enough to follow a shape rather than fight it, which is why sheets like this end up in niches and behind taps. The polish throws light around, which helps a dark room, but a polished face is slick once it is wet. Worth thinking twice before it goes on a shower floor or just inside a front door. Porcelain is fired dense all the way through, so a chip does not show a different colour underneath the way it can on a glazed ceramic. PEI 4 is rated past residential traffic, so a busy hallway, a shop floor or an office is within range. Work on 9.69 sq ft a box. That puts a 100 sq ft floor at 12 boxes with ten percent in hand, which is what you want for cuts and breakage. There is far more grout per square foot here than with a big tile. Pick the grout colour deliberately, because it is half of what you will see. Worth seeing in person in Mississauga or Barrie, because lighting changes tile more than people expect.
