Midgley West Imperial Calacatta Bianco Mosaic Tile 1"x1" - Polished

Imperial Calacatta Bianco, 1" x 1", is small enough to follow a shape rather than fight it, which is why sheets like this end up in niches and behind taps. The polish throws light around, which helps a dark room, but a polished face is slick once it is wet. Worth thinking twice before it goes on a shower floor or just inside a front door. Porcelain is the hard wearing one, which is why it ends up in the rooms that get walked through. PEI 4 is rated past residential traffic, so a busy hallway, a shop floor or an office is within range. A box holds 9.69 sq ft, so a 100 sq ft floor works out at 12 boxes once you add the usual ten percent for cuts and the odd broken piece. There is far more grout per square foot here than with a big tile. Pick the grout colour deliberately, because it is half of what you will see. Come and see it in Mississauga or Barrie. Tile rarely looks the same in a store as it does on a phone screen.
