Midgley West Imperial Statuario Mosaic Tile 2"x2" - Natural

Pieces this small are what make a shower floor work, and Imperial Statuario, 2" x 2", is no exception: the mesh follows the fall to the drain instead of fighting it. The natural surface keeps its texture, which is what you want where feet arrive wet. The low absorption is the reason porcelain ends up in wet rooms and entries. It takes water, salt and grit without complaint. PEI 4 is rated past residential traffic, so a busy hallway, a shop floor or an office is within range. Each box covers 9.69 sq ft. For a 100 sq ft room order 12 and you have your ten percent for cuts and a couple spare for repairs later. Expect a lot of grout with a sheet this small, so the grout colour will do as much to the finished look as the tile does. Worth seeing in person in Mississauga or Barrie, because lighting changes tile more than people expect.
