Midgley West Imperial Statuario Tile 12"x10" Esagona - Polished

Imperial Statuario, 12" x 10", is easier to work around a toilet flange or a tight corner than anything larger. The polish throws light around, which helps a dark room, but a polished face is slick once it is wet. Worth thinking twice before it goes on a shower floor or just inside a front door. Porcelain is fired dense all the way through, so a chip does not show a different colour underneath the way it can on a glazed ceramic. PEI 4 is rated past residential traffic, so a busy hallway, a shop floor or an office is within range. A box holds 7.81 sq ft, so a 100 sq ft floor works out at 15 boxes once you add the usual ten percent for cuts and the odd broken piece. Have a look at it in Mississauga or Barrie before you order, ideally next to whatever it is going beside.
