The Imperial Michelangelo Spaccatella in 2" x 2" is small enough to follow a slope, which is why sheets like this keep turning up on shower floors and in wet rooms. The natural surface keeps its texture, which is what you want where feet arrive wet. The density is the point with porcelain: very little water gets in, which is what keeps it stable in a bathroom or a laundry. PEI 4 is rated past residential traffic, so a busy hallway, a shop floor or an office is within range. A box holds 9.69 sq ft, so a 100 sq ft floor works out at 12 boxes once you add the usual ten percent for cuts and the odd broken piece. There is far more grout per square foot here than with a big tile. Pick the grout colour deliberately, because it is half of what you will see.
