About this product

The Imperial Michelangelo Bianco Apuano in 2" x 2" is small enough to follow a slope, which is why sheets like this keep turning up on shower floors and in wet rooms. The natural surface keeps its texture, which is what you want where feet arrive wet. Fired harder and denser than ceramic, porcelain copes with freeze and thaw as well, so a covered porch or a three season room is fair game. PEI 4 is rated past residential traffic, so a busy hallway, a shop floor or an office is within range. A box holds 9.69 sq ft, so a 100 sq ft floor works out at 12 boxes once you add the usual ten percent for cuts and the odd broken piece. There is far more grout per square foot here than with a big tile. Pick the grout colour deliberately, because it is half of what you will see. Worth seeing in person in Mississauga or Barrie, because lighting changes tile more than people expect.
