Polished gives you the reflective surface, and the trade is grip: wet polished tile is slippery, so keep it off a wet floor and enjoy it on a wall or a dry room. Porcelain is fired dense all the way through, so a chip does not show a different colour underneath the way it can on a glazed ceramic. PEI 4 is rated past residential traffic, so a busy hallway, a shop floor or an office is within range. A box holds 9.69 sq ft, so a 100 sq ft floor works out at 12 boxes once you add the usual ten percent for cuts and the odd broken piece. There is far more grout per square foot here than with a big tile. Pick the grout colour deliberately, because it is half of what you will see. Both the Mississauga and Barrie stores keep it out, so you can put it beside your cabinet door or a paint chip before you commit.
