Midgley West Imperial Calacatta Beige Mosaic Tile 2"x2" - Natural

Imperial Calacatta Beige at 2" x 2" is small enough to follow a slope, which is why sheets like this keep turning up on shower floors and in wet rooms. A natural finish holds grip when it is wet and does not show water spotting the way a polished face does. The low absorption is the reason porcelain ends up in wet rooms and entries. It takes water, salt and grit without complaint. PEI 4 is rated past residential traffic, so a busy hallway, a shop floor or an office is within range. A box holds 9.69 sq ft, so a 100 sq ft floor works out at 12 boxes once you add the usual ten percent for cuts and the odd broken piece. Expect a lot of grout with a sheet this small, so the grout colour will do as much to the finished look as the tile does. Come and see it in Mississauga or Barrie. Tile rarely looks the same in a store as it does on a phone screen.
