The Horizon Beige in 48" x 48" is large enough that the subfloor has to be flat first, because a tile this size telegraphs every dip underneath. The look is worth the prep. Fired harder and denser than ceramic, porcelain copes with freeze and thaw as well, so a covered porch or a three season room is fair game. PEI 4 is rated past residential traffic, so a busy hallway, a shop floor or an office is within range. Each box covers 31.25 sq ft. For a 100 sq ft room order 4 and you have your ten percent for cuts and a couple spare for repairs later.
