Midgley West Horizon White Tile 32"x64" - Matte

The Horizon White in 32" x 64" is slab format. Handled properly it reads as stone rather than as tiling, but it is not a weekend job. The matte face keeps some grip when it is wet and does not show every water mark, which is why it is the usual pick for a bathroom floor. Because it is porcelain the body is dense all the way through, so a chip does not show a different colour underneath the way it can on a glazed ceramic. PEI 4 is rated past residential traffic, so a busy hallway, a shop floor or an office is within range. A box holds 27.78 sq ft, so a 100 sq ft floor works out at 4 boxes once you add the usual ten percent for cuts and the odd broken piece. Worth seeing in person in Mississauga or Barrie, because lighting changes tile more than people expect.
