Midgley West Colors / Mono Azzurro Tile 9"x9" - Matte

Colors / Mono Azzurro at 9" x 9" is a practical size for a small floor or a feature wall, where a large tile would end up mostly cut. A matte surface stays reasonably grippy wet and will not throw glare across the room. Porcelain is fired dense enough that water is not an issue, indoors or in a sheltered spot outside. The colours in this line are not all rated the same: PEI runs 3 to 4 across them, so check the rating on the one you are actually buying before it goes anywhere busy. A box holds 14.07 sq ft, so a 100 sq ft floor works out at 8 boxes once you add the usual ten percent for cuts and the odd broken piece. Worth seeing in person in Mississauga or Barrie, because lighting changes tile more than people expect.
