Why Magma Stands Out

The smallest tiles in the store do the hardest jobs: slopes, drains, borders and curves.

In simple terms: Ciot Magma is a mosaic tile collection from Ciot Tiles for floors and walls. Squarefoot Flooring stocks it at both stores and installs it with our own crews.

The range runs in 1 3/4" x 7 3/4" and 2 1/4" x 12" formats. Colourways include Cinder, Mist, Slate, Steam and Subway Cinder Ripple. The look is basalt.

Decision line: Magma belongs on shower floors, backsplashes and borders, anywhere the surface bends or slopes; field tile covers the big flat areas around it.

Tile is quoted as a whole job here, preparation, waterproofing where needed, grout and labour by our own employed crews, never subcontractors. See how we work on the tile installation page, then come compare Magma in person at our Mississauga or Barrie store; a full piece under room light reads differently than any photo.

Still Have Questions?

Quick answers about this collection before you buy.

What is Ciot Magma?
Ciot Tiles Magma is natural stone and stone mosaic, with a basalt look. The basalt look is dark and tight-grained, with very little movement piece to piece. The pieces in this line are meant to be used together rather than chosen in isolation.
Where do Magma mosaics work best?
Shower floors, backsplashes, feature strips and curves. Mosaic sheets follow slopes and bends that large tiles cannot, which is why shower pans are their natural home.
Do you install Magma?
Yes, with our own employed installation crews rather than subcontractors, for residential and commercial projects. Tile work is quoted with preparation, waterproofing where needed, and grout included, so the number you get is the whole job.
Where can I see Magma near me?
You can see it at both Squarefoot Flooring stores, in Mississauga at 700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, and in Barrie at 112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4. A full sample under room light reads very differently from a photo, so come compare it in person before deciding.
