Fuzion Floors Pemberton Carpet Tile Flooring
Broadloom carpet looks great until a stain or a burst pipe forces you to recarpet an entire room. Carpet tile was designed to solve exactly that problem.
In simple terms: Fuzion Floors Pemberton is modular carpet plank, carpet in planks that glue down individually instead of as one big roll. That means warmth and sound control underfoot, plus the ability to replace a single tile if it is ever damaged. Squarefoot Flooring carries it and our own crew installs it.
Here is what matters with this one. It is built on solution-dyed nylon, the hard-wearing choice in carpet. Nylon recovers its shape under traffic better than other fibers, and because the colour is dyed all the way through the strand, it shrugs off fading and lets you clean tough stains aggressively without bleaching out the pattern. The tiles sit on a PVC-free polyolefin backing that keeps each square flat and dimensionally stable while using a more sustainable, lower-PVC makeup. It is tufted at a 1/12 gauge for a dense, even surface. Installers can run them Ashlar, Brick, and Herringbone among other patterns; a monolithic layout reads like broadloom, while quarter-turn or ashlar adds subtle texture and hides any dye-lot variation. It is CRI Green Label Plus certified for low emissions, which matters for indoor air quality in a closed-up basement or office. It is backed by a Lifetime Commercial warranty. Colours in the range include Aster, Balsalt Ridge, Fable, Hemlock, Pinnacle Crest, and Pioneer.
Because it is modular, a damaged plank is a five-minute fix: pull the affected tile, glue a replacement in its place, and the repair disappears. That same modularity is why the boxes are easy to move and lay in tight basement stairwells where a broadloom roll will not go.
It is at its best in basements, rec rooms, home offices, home gyms, playrooms, and media rooms, the spaces where you want warmth and quiet underfoot and the option to replace a tile if life happens. Carpet also absorbs sound, which helps in shared-wall condos and busy households.
Installation is glue-down. Our own crew, employees rather than subcontractors, starts by making sure the subfloor is clean, flat, and dry, including bare concrete in a basement. We plan the layout and dry-lay a few rows to set the pattern and check colour flow, then bond the tiles with full-spread adhesive, working out from the centre so the border tiles fall evenly. Individual tiles can be lifted and reglued later if one ever needs replacing.
Decision line: choose Fuzion Floors Pemberton when you want carpet that stands up to real traffic and aggressive cleaning, a basement that doubles as a playroom, a home office, or a busy family lower level.
Carpet colour and texture read differently across a full floor than in a small sample, so it is worth seeing Fuzion Floors Pemberton in person at either showroom.
