Centura Piacentina Grey Matte Porcelain 24" x 24"

Piacentina Grey is a 24" x 24" porcelain tile from Centura's Piacentina range. The surface is a matte surface that holds light rather than throwing it back. Piece-to-piece variation is graded V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. At 24" x 24", it covers ground with fewer grout lines than a small format, which keeps a room reading as one surface. Underfoot it is rated R9, the rating for dry interior floors. The body is frost resistant, which opens up porches, garages, balconies and other areas that drop below freezing. The rating covers both floors and walls, which lets a bathroom or kitchen run the same surface vertically and horizontally. Because the edges are rectified, the grout joint can close to around 2 to 3 mm and the layout reads almost seamless. The body measures 9 mm. Centura matches it to grout 939 - Mist. One box contains 3 pieces, enough for 11.96 sq ft, or 3.9872 sq ft a piece.
