Centura Piacentina Dark Grey Matte Porcelain 24" x 24"

Piacentina Dark Grey is a 24" x 24" porcelain tile from Centura's Piacentina range. It is finished with a matte surface that holds light rather than throwing it back. Shade variation is rated V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. At 24" x 24", it covers ground with fewer grout lines than a small format, which keeps a room reading as one surface. The slip rating is R9, the rating for dry interior floors. The body is frost resistant, which opens up porches, garages, balconies and other areas that drop below freezing. Floor and wall use are both covered, useful where a feature wall and the floor beneath it need to match exactly. Rectified edges mean the tile is cut square after firing and will take a tight 2 to 3 mm joint, provided the substrate is flat. The body measures 9 mm. For a colour match, Centura specifies grout 927 - Light Pewter. Boxes hold 3 pieces and cover 11.96 sq ft, or 3.9872 sq ft a piece.
