Centura Motley Altamont Natural Porcelain 12" x 24"

Centura lists Motley Altamont in the Motley range: a 12" x 24" porcelain tile. Centura gives it a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Piece-to-piece variation is graded V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. A 12" x 24" tile lays up quickly and leaves less grout to keep clean. Underfoot it is rated R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. It is frost resistant, so it holds up in unheated garages, porches and exterior work where the tile will freeze and thaw. The rating covers both floors and walls, which lets a bathroom or kitchen run the same surface vertically and horizontally. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so it sets with a joint of roughly 2 to 3 mm over a flat substrate. The body measures 9 mm. Centura matches it to grout 939 Mist. Boxes hold 7 pieces and cover 13.56 sq ft, or 1.9376 sq ft a piece.
