Centura Motley Wembley Natural Porcelain 12" x 24"

Centura lists Motley Wembley in the Motley range: a 12" x 24" porcelain tile. It is finished with a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Centura rates shade variation at V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. The 12" x 24" format means fewer joints across a floor, so the eye is not pulled to a grid. The slip rating is R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. Because it is frost resistant, it can carry an interior floor out onto a covered patio or three-season room. It is approved for floor and wall installation, so wall and floor areas of the same room can be tiled from one order. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so it sets with a joint of roughly 2 to 3 mm over a flat substrate. The body measures 9 mm. For a colour match, Centura specifies grout 915 Light Smoke. It ships 7 pieces to a box, covering 13.56 sq ft, or 1.9376 sq ft a piece.
