Anderson Tuftex Vignette Broadloom Carpet

Anderson Tuftex Vignette is a cut & loop pile broadloom carpet, nylon, with a LifeGuard waterproof backing, carried and installed by Squarefoot Flooring. See it at our Mississauga and Barrie showrooms.

Carpet is the one floor you feel before you see it, and broadloom is still the softest, warmest way to cover a bedroom or a whole lower level.

In simple terms: Anderson Tuftex Vignette is traditional wall-to-wall carpet, installed over an underpad for comfort and sound control. It is a soft, warm choice for bedrooms, stairs, and living spaces, and we install it in-house.

Here is what matters with this one. This is a cut-and-loop construction: mixing cut and looped yarns creates a sculpted pattern that disguises dirt and traffic while giving the floor texture and depth. This one runs on nylon, the fiber to choose when durability matters. Nylon stands up to traffic and repeated cleaning better than polyester, making it a sound pick for stairs and main living areas. It is built on a LifeGuard waterproof backing, a moisture barrier that keeps spills and pet accidents from reaching the pad and subfloor underneath, which makes carpet far more forgiving in a real household. Its 52 oz per square yard face weight is solid residential density, a good balance of feel and value. At 12 feet on the roll, a standard bedroom or living room seams just once or twice, kept out of the main walking paths. It is made in the USA. Colours in the range include Artisan Craft, Celebration, Champagne, Cottage, Crisp Linen, and Deep Pine.

Broadloom is at its best in bedrooms, living and family rooms, stairs, hallways, and finished basements, the rooms where warmth, softness, and sound control matter. It is the one floor that makes a staircase quieter and safer underfoot. The one place to avoid carpet is a wet room like a bathroom or laundry.

Broadloom is stretched in over a separate underpad, not glued, and the install is where it is won or lost. Our in-house team sets the tack strips, lays the carpet underpad, power-stretches the carpet so it stays taut, and heat-seams the seams flat. We handle stairs and transitions too. See our projects for examples.

Decision line: Vignette is built for real use, the carpet to choose for stairs, family rooms, and high-traffic areas that still need to feel soft.

Carpet colour and texture read very differently across a full room than in a small sample, so it is worth seeing Vignette in person at either showroom.
