Anderson Tuftex Mosaic Anderson Tuftex Broadloom Carpet

Anderson Tuftex Mosaic Anderson Tuftex is a cut & loop pile broadloom carpet, nylon, carried and installed by Squarefoot Flooring. See it at our Mississauga and Barrie showrooms.

Soft underfoot, warm in winter, and quiet in a busy house, broadloom carpet earns its place in bedrooms and lower levels, as long as you match the construction to the traffic.

In simple terms: Anderson Tuftex Mosaic Anderson Tuftex is roll carpet for wall-to-wall installation, the soft, quiet, warm floor for the rooms where comfort matters most. Squarefoot Flooring stocks it and installs it with its own team.

Here is what matters with this one. This is a cut-and-loop construction: mixing cut and looped yarns creates a sculpted pattern that disguises dirt and traffic while giving the floor texture and depth. It is built on nylon, prized for resilience: nylon recovers its shape under traffic and wears longer than softer fibers, which is why it is the go-to for stairs, hallways, and high-use family rooms. It sits on a Softbac backing, softer and more pliable than an old-style rigid backing, so it tucks neatly around a room and resists the rippling that stiffer backings can develop. Its 35 to 36 oz per square yard face weight is on the lighter side, a fit for bedrooms and quieter rooms. At 12 feet on the roll, a standard bedroom or living room seams just once or twice, kept out of the main walking paths. It is made in the USA. Colours in the range include Bungalow, Aria, Minimal, Coronado, Folklore, and Wonder.

Broadloom is at its best in bedrooms, living and family rooms, stairs, hallways, and finished basements, the rooms where warmth, softness, and sound control matter. It is the one floor that makes a staircase quieter and safer underfoot. The one place to avoid carpet is a wet room like a bathroom or laundry.

Broadloom is stretched in over a separate underpad, not glued, and the install is where it is won or lost. Our in-house team sets the tack strips, lays the carpet underpad, power-stretches the carpet so it stays taut, and heat-seams the seams flat. We handle stairs and transitions too. See our projects for examples.

Decision line: Mosaic Anderson Tuftex is built for real use, the carpet to choose for stairs, family rooms, and high-traffic areas that still need to feel soft.

We keep Mosaic Anderson Tuftex at both showrooms, where you can feel the pile and judge the colour properly. Contact us for stock, see how it works on stairs, or for offices and retail ask about our commercial flooring work. The full Anderson Tuftex lineup is worth a look as well.
