Anatolia Tile Nord Palladium is a 2" matte porcelain mosaic. The face gives you a matte face that absorbs light rather than bouncing it. Shade variation is graded V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that stops the installation looking printed. The hexagon format sets it apart from a straight grid layout. In a home it suits kitchens, entry halls and main-floor living areas. Commercially it is specified for retail floors, restaurant and cafe dining rooms and hotel lobbies. On paper that means a DCOF of 0.50, at or above the 0.42 threshold ANSI sets for level interior floors expected to be walked on wet, Class 4 abrasion resistance, a slip rating of R10 and Mohs hardness 8. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so it sets with a joint of roughly 2 to 3 mm on a flat substrate. The body is color body porcelain. Boxes hold 10 pieces and cover 9.69 sq ft.
