Nord Carbon is a 3" x 24" matte bullnose in the Nord range. Visually it offers a matte face that absorbs light rather than bouncing it. Anatolia grades variation at V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that stops the installation looking printed. This is a finishing piece: a bullnose closes off the exposed edge where a tiled field meets drywall, a niche return or a step. Anatolia tests it at a DCOF of 0.50, at or above the 0.42 threshold ANSI sets for level interior floors expected to be walked on wet, Class 4 abrasion resistance, a slip rating of R10 and Mohs hardness 8. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so it sets with a joint of roughly 2 to 3 mm on a flat substrate. The body is color body porcelain. Made in Turkey.
