Belgian Linen Light Blend is a matte porcelain mosaic in the Belgian Linen range. Visually it offers the weave and slub of woven linen and a matte face that absorbs light rather than bouncing it. Shade variation is graded V1, so pieces run close to uniform and the finished surface reads as one plane. Laid out, the random strip shape breaks the run of a standard grid. In a home it suits kitchens, entry halls and main-floor living areas. On commercial jobs it turns up in retail floors, restaurant and cafe dining rooms and hotel lobbies. Anatolia tests it at a DCOF of 0.50, at or above the 0.42 threshold ANSI sets for level interior floors expected to be walked on wet, Class 4 abrasion resistance, a slip rating of R9 and Mohs hardness 7. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so it sets with a joint of roughly 2 to 3 mm on a flat substrate. The body is color body porcelain. Boxes hold 10 pieces and cover 9.58 sq ft.
