Belgian Linen Light Blend is an 1" x 4" matte porcelain mosaic in the Belgian Linen range. Visually it offers the weave and slub of woven linen and a matte face that absorbs light rather than bouncing it. Shade variation is graded V1, so pieces run close to uniform and the finished surface reads as one plane. A stacked format gives the wall or floor a pattern of its own. In a home it suits kitchens, entry halls and main-floor living areas. On commercial jobs it turns up in retail floors, restaurant and cafe dining rooms and hotel lobbies. The published figures are a DCOF of 0.50, at or above the 0.42 threshold ANSI sets for level interior floors expected to be walked on wet, Class 4 abrasion resistance, a slip rating of R9 and Mohs hardness 7. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so it sets with a joint of roughly 2 to 3 mm on a flat substrate. The body is color body porcelain. One box contains 10 pieces, enough for 9.58 sq ft. Made in Malaysia.
