Belgian Linen Fog is a matte porcelain mosaic from Anatolia Tile. Visually it offers a textile face with visible warp and weft and a matte face that absorbs light rather than bouncing it. Shade variation is graded V1, so pieces run close to uniform and the finished surface reads as one plane. The basketweave format sets it apart from a straight grid layout. Residentially it works in kitchens, entry halls and main-floor living areas. Commercially it is specified for retail floors, restaurant and cafe dining rooms and hotel lobbies. Anatolia tests it at a DCOF of 0.50, at or above the 0.42 threshold ANSI sets for level interior floors expected to be walked on wet, Class 4 abrasion resistance, a slip rating of R9 and Mohs hardness 7. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so it sets with a joint of roughly 2 to 3 mm on a flat substrate. The body is color body porcelain.
