Anatolia Tile Belgian Linen Dark Blend is a matte porcelain mosaic. The face gives you a textile face with visible warp and weft and a matte face that absorbs light rather than bouncing it. Shade variation is graded V1, so pieces run close to uniform and the finished surface reads as one plane. Laid out, the stacked shape breaks the run of a standard grid. Residentially it works in kitchens, entry halls and main-floor living areas. On commercial jobs it turns up in retail floors, restaurant and cafe dining rooms and hotel lobbies. The published figures are a DCOF of 0.50, at or above the 0.42 threshold ANSI sets for level interior floors expected to be walked on wet, Class 4 abrasion resistance, a slip rating of R9 and Mohs hardness 7. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so it sets with a joint of roughly 2 to 3 mm on a flat substrate. The body is color body porcelain.
