In simple terms: COREtec Floors Pro VV800 gives you the look of real wood in a waterproof, hard-wearing vinyl floor. Squarefoot Flooring stocks it and installs it with our own team.

Here is what matters on this one. SPC stands for stone polymer composite, and that core is the point: it is hard, rigid, and stable, so the plank stays flat over uneven subfloors and ignores the temperature swings that move cheaper vinyl. It clicks together as a floating floor. It has a 20 mil wear layer, the sweet spot for busy homes and light commercial rooms, well above the builder-grade 6 to 12 mil you find in big-box vinyl. With vinyl, the mil rating tells you more about longevity than the overall thickness does. Water is a non-issue: it is 100% waterproof through the whole plank, which is what makes it the go-to for bathrooms, kitchens, and below-grade rooms. It comes with an attached acoustic pad, which softens sound between floors and means one less layer to buy and lay. Planks run up to 8 inches wide and 49 inches long, a wide-and-long format that reads like real wood. Micro-bevelled edges define each plank for a more authentic look. It is backed by a 15-year Light commercial warranty. Colours in the range include Brookfield Maple, Douglas Maple, Essex Maple, Fairhaven Oak, and Hatfield Maple.
