MSI Surfaces XL Studio Vinyl Plank Flooring
Waterproof, hard-wearing, and warmer underfoot than tile: that combination is why vinyl ends up in so many Toronto kitchens and finished basements.
In simple terms: MSI Surfaces XL Studio gives you the look of real wood in a waterproof, hard-wearing vinyl floor. Squarefoot Flooring stocks it and installs it with our own team.
This is a rigid-core vinyl plank, engineered to stay flat and stable over uneven subfloors and through temperature swings, and it floats into place without glue. The wear layer is a heavy 30 mil, built for commercial traffic, so a busy household barely touches it. On vinyl, that mil number is the best single predictor of how long the floor keeps looking new, more than thickness or price. It is 100% waterproof top to bottom, not merely water-resistant, so kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, basements, and entries are all fair game. It carries an IIC rating around 23 and an STC around 71, so it clears the sound-transfer rules most GTA condo boards set, a common sticking point in high-rises. Planks run up to 9 inches wide and 60 inches long, a wide-and-long format that reads like real wood. It is FloorScore certified for indoor air quality and GREENGUARD certified. It is backed by a Lifetime residential and 25-Year commercial warranty. Colours in the range include Adlar, Bozeman, Doack, Lark, and Malden.
Decision line: choose XL Studio where you want a low-maintenance, water-friendly floor that still looks the part.
Installation is in-house and never subcontracted, across the Toronto and Mississauga area up to Barrie and Simcoe County. We check the subfloor, prep it, and set the floor, then handle the trim. Browse our projects or the vinyl installation page.
We keep XL Studio at both stores, where the texture and colour read properly. Contact us for stock, or start from our Toronto and Mississauga vinyl pages. The is flooring waterproof guide breaks down how waterproof vinyl compares.
