In simple terms: NAF Flooring Waterproof is a 12mm AC5 rated water-resistant laminate, waterproof enough for kitchens, baths, and entries. We carry it and install it in-house.

That construction is what lets Waterproof go where ordinary laminate cannot: kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, mudrooms, and entries, and anywhere a spill or wet boot is part of daily life. The range includes tones such as Harrison, Molson, Ontario, Sandy, and Superior.

The build behind that: Waterproof runs a 12mm board on the thicker end of the range, which gives a solid, quiet step and bridges minor subfloor irregularities better than thin planks. It carries an AC5 wear rating, the level specified for light commercial use, so it shrugs off heavy household traffic, rentals, and high-use entries. The core is high-density fibreboard, which resists denting and holds the locking profile better than the cheaper particleboard in budget laminate. The surface is a low-sheen matte that hides dust and footprints better than a glossy finish. It installs with a click-lock system, a glue-free floating install that keeps labour costs down and lets the floor be lifted and reused later. It has a water-resistant core, which lets it handle the spills and humidity that would swell a standard laminate at the joints. It is backed by a 30-year residential and 5-year Light commercial warranty.
