Fuzion Flooring Seabreeze Water-Resistant Laminate
The fastest way to ruin a laminate floor is to put a water-shy one where life actually happens, by the stove, the tub, or the entry.
In simple terms: Fuzion Flooring Seabreeze is a 12mm AC5 rated water-resistant laminate, a floor built to take water in the rooms where that matters. Squarefoot Flooring carries it, and our own crew installs it.
Seabreeze runs a 12mm board on the thicker end of the range, which gives a solid, quiet step and bridges minor subfloor irregularities better than thin planks. It carries an AC5 wear rating, the level specified for light commercial use, so it shrugs off heavy household traffic, rentals, and high-use entries. The surface is an embossed wood grain for a natural look and a little underfoot grip. It installs with a click-lock system, a glue-free floating install that keeps labour costs down and lets the floor be lifted and reused later. It is rated for 72 hours of surface water protection, which in practice means a spill, a melting ice cube, or a wet boot will not swell the seams as long as it is wiped up in good time. It is approved for use over in-floor heating, a common request in Toronto condos and Barrie homes. It is also antimicrobial, and pet friendly. It is backed by a 30-year residential and 15-year light commercial warranty.
That construction is what lets Seabreeze go where ordinary laminate cannot: kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, mudrooms, and entries, and anywhere a spill or wet boot is part of daily life. The range includes tones such as Hyacinth, Iris, Laurel, Lotus, and Primrose.
Decision line: choose Seabreeze for any room that meets water, kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, mudrooms, and entries; for dry bedrooms and living rooms, a standard laminate will also do the job for less.
Installation is in-house across the Toronto and Mississauga area, Barrie, and Simcoe County, with no subcontractors. Because it works over in-floor heating, it pairs well with the heating membranes we stock. A floating floor needs a flat, dry base, so subfloor prep and underlayment are where we spend the time. See the laminate installation page.
Laminate looks very different in a full plank under room light than in a small photo, so it is worth seeing Seabreeze in person. We keep it at both showrooms; contact us to confirm stock, or browse the full water-resistant laminate range.
