Ek Calacatta is a 12" x 24" Porcelain Tile. Porcelain is pressed and fired denser than ceramic, which is what lets it take water, frost and daily traffic. The matte face holds light rather than bouncing it, so it hides dust and water spotting between cleans. Porcelain of this density is normally specified for floors and walls through the home. Fewer grout lines let the floor read as one surface rather than a grid. It is sold by the piece rather than by the box, so count the pieces you need and add a few for cuts and breakage.
