Roca Tile Savoy Travertine Gray Porcelain 12" x 24"

Roca Tile's Savoy Travertine Gray is a 12" x 24" glazed porcelain tile in a natural stone look, with the tonal shift of split stone and 10.8 mm thick. Roca Savoy Travertine Gray is for floors and walls through the home. It gives you one tile that can run from a kitchen floor up a backsplash without changing product. A dynamic coefficient of friction of 0.42 or above clears the ANSI A326.3 threshold of 0.42, so it is rated for a level interior floor that gets wet. Water absorption of 0.5% or less is the figure that makes it a porcelain rather than a ceramic. The trade-off with any glazed tile is that the colour sits on the surface rather than running through the body, so a deep chip shows the biscuit underneath. Pair it with a matching bullnose or a metal trim at the edges, an uncoupling membrane over a concrete slab, and a large-format mortar, because a tile this size needs full coverage under it. A box of Savoy Travertine Gray tile holds 9 pieces and covers 17.44 square feet. Order the area you are covering plus about ten per cent for cuts and breakage.
