Roca Tile Savoy Fiorito Gray Porcelain 24" x 48"

Roca Tile's Savoy Fiorito Gray is a 24" x 48" glazed porcelain tile and 10.8 mm thick. Roca Savoy Fiorito Gray is for floors and walls through the home. It gives you one tile that can run from a kitchen floor up a backsplash without changing product. A dynamic coefficient of friction of 0.42 or above clears the ANSI A326.3 threshold of 0.42, so it is rated for a level interior floor that gets wet. Water absorption of 0.5% or less is the figure that makes it a porcelain rather than a ceramic. The trade-off with any glazed tile is that the colour sits on the surface rather than running through the body, so a deep chip shows the biscuit underneath. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, which lets a tiler close the joint to about an eighth of an inch. It also means the substrate has to be flat, because a tight joint leaves nowhere to hide a dip. Pair it with a matching bullnose or a metal trim at the edges, an uncoupling membrane over a concrete slab, and a large-format mortar, because a tile this size needs full coverage under it. A box of Savoy Fiorito Gray tile holds 3 pieces and covers 22.82 square feet. Order the area you are covering plus about ten per cent for cuts and breakage.
