Marble Lincoln White is a 12" x 24" ceramic tile with rectified edges, cut square after firing so the grout joint can close to about an eighth of an inch. Marble-look porcelain carries the veining without the sealing, etching and acid sensitivity of quarried stone. Ceramic fires lighter than porcelain and cuts more cleanly, which is what makes it practical on walls. The glaze is fired onto the body and carries the colour and pattern, which is what allows the stone and concrete looks. It is a wall tile, which puts it on backsplashes, shower surrounds and feature walls. At this size the grout lines fall further apart, which makes a room look larger. Order the area you are covering plus about ten percent for cuts and waste.
