Abbey Roble is a 12" x 36" ceramic tile with rectified edges, cut square after firing so the grout joint can close to about an eighth of an inch. It takes a wood grain into bathrooms and basements where a real board would move with the humidity. Ceramic fires lighter than porcelain and cuts more cleanly, which is what makes it practical on walls. The glaze is fired onto the body and carries the colour and pattern, which is what allows the stone and concrete looks. It is a wall tile, which puts it on backsplashes, shower surrounds and feature walls. A large format means fewer grout lines, so a floor reads as one continuous surface. Order the area you are covering plus about ten percent for cuts and waste.
