Richmond Tile Urban 2.0 Iron Blue 24x48 Honed Rectified

The Urban 2 0 Iron Blue Honed Rectified in 24" x 48" is large enough that the subfloor has to be flat first, because a tile this size telegraphs every dip underneath. The look is worth the prep. A honed surface sits between matte and polished: a little depth, none of the glare, and better underfoot than a full polish. Ceramic is softer than porcelain and takes less traffic, so it is at its best on a wall or in a room that is not a thoroughfare. It is on display in Mississauga and Barrie if you want to see a full sheet rather than a photograph.
