Richmond Tile Carrara Select Blu 24x48 Honed Rectified

The Carrara Select Blu Honed Rectified in 24" x 48" is large enough that the subfloor has to be flat first, because a tile this size telegraphs every dip underneath. The look is worth the prep. A honed surface sits between matte and polished: a little depth, none of the glare, and better underfoot than a full polish. Fired harder and denser than ceramic, porcelain copes with freeze and thaw as well, so a covered porch or a three season room is fair game. It is on display in Mississauga and Barrie if you want to see a full sheet rather than a photograph.
