Olympia Tile Unicolour Black Polished Porcelain Tile 24" x 24"

Large tile means fewer grout lines to scrub, and a room reads bigger with them. Unicolour Black gives you that in 24" x 24".

In simple terms: Unicolour Black is a 24x24 porcelain tile for dry floors and walls, indoors.

It is the polished finish in Black from the Olympia Tile Unicolour range. The actual size is 23.62" x 23.62", or 60 x 60 cm.

It is 10 mm thick. The body is coloured to match the surface, so a chip shows less than it would on a white-body tile. It is rated for light commercial traffic. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself does not need sealing.

It suits living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms, hallways away from the entry door, kitchen backsplashes, shower and bathroom walls and feature walls. Pick it over a smaller tile when you want fewer grout lines; pick smaller if the floor is out of level.

Each box holds 4 pieces and covers 15.5 sq ft, so a 150 sq ft living room floor takes 10 boxes, or 11 boxes with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 8 boxes with the 10% extra included.

It is listed for outdoor use, but a polished face gets slick when wet, so we would not put it on a patio, steps or a pool deck. On a floor, keep the polished face out of showers and away from entry doors where wet boots come in, because it gets slick when wet. Its commercial rating is light traffic, so keep it out of busy commercial floors.

In this size, Unicolour also comes in Cement Grey, Dark Grey, Light Grey, Medium Grey and Sky Blue. Black also comes in 12" x 24".

Our own crews install it, so the people who measure the job are the people who answer for it. See Olympia Tile Unicolour Black in person at our Mississauga showroom (700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, 905-277-2227) or our Barrie showroom (112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4, 705-726-2272).
