Olympia Tile Unicolour Black Matte Porcelain Tile 24" x 24"

Large tile means fewer grout lines to scrub, and a room reads bigger with them. Unicolour Black gives you that in 24" x 24".

In simple terms: Unicolour Black is a 24x24 porcelain tile for floors and walls, indoors and out.

It is the matte finish in Black from the Olympia Tile Unicolour range. The actual size is 23.62" x 23.62", or 60 x 60 cm.

It is 9 mm thick. The body is coloured to match the surface, so a chip shows less than it would on a white-body tile. It carries a High Plus commercial traffic rating, the top commercial rating listed. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself does not need sealing.

It suits open-plan floors, living areas, basements, shower and bathroom walls, covered porches and patios and busy commercial floors such as stores and offices. Pick it over a smaller tile when you want fewer grout lines; pick smaller if the floor is out of level.

Each box holds 4 pieces and covers 15.5 sq ft, so a 150 sq ft kitchen floor takes 10 boxes, or 11 boxes with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 8 boxes with the 10% extra included.

It is listed for outdoor use, but an outdoor floor also needs the right base and slope, so ask us before planning it outside.

In this size, Unicolour also comes in Cement Grey, Dark Grey, Light Grey, Medium Grey and Sky Blue. Black also comes in 12" x 24".

Our own crews install it, so the people who measure the job are the people who answer for it. See Olympia Tile Unicolour Black in person at our Mississauga showroom (700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, 905-277-2227) or our Barrie showroom (112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4, 705-726-2272).
