Olympia Tile Mare Grey Matte Porcelain Tile 13" x 13"

A plain, solid-colour tile is the safe base for a room, since it works with any cabinet, vanity or wall colour. Mare Grey is that kind of tile.

In simple terms: Mare Grey is a 13x13 porcelain tile for floors and walls, indoors.

It is the matte finish in Grey from the Olympia Tile Mare range. The actual size is 12.99" x 12.99", or 33 x 33 cm.

It is 8 mm thick. It is rated for light commercial traffic. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself does not need sealing.

It suits kitchen floors, bathroom floors, hallways, basements and shower and bathroom walls. Pick it when you want the floor or wall to sit quietly behind the cabinets and fixtures.

Each box holds 9 pieces and covers 10.76 sq ft, so a 150 sq ft kitchen floor takes 14 boxes, or 16 boxes with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 11 boxes with the 10% extra included.

No outdoor rating is listed, so keep it indoors: no porches, patios or exterior walls. Its commercial rating is light traffic, so keep it out of busy commercial floors.

In this size, Mare also comes in Ivory, Sand and White. Grey also comes in 12" x 24".

Our own crews install it, so the people who measure the job are the people who answer for it. See Olympia Tile Mare Grey in person at our Mississauga showroom (700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, 905-277-2227) or our Barrie showroom (112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4, 705-726-2272).
