Olympia Tile Regal Grey Polished Porcelain Tile 12" x 12"

A plain, solid-colour tile is the safe base for a room, since it works with any cabinet, vanity or wall colour. Regal Grey is that kind of tile.

In simple terms: Regal Grey is a 12x12 porcelain tile for dry floors and walls, indoors.

It is the polished finish in Grey from the Olympia Tile Regal range. The actual size is 11.69" x 11.69", or 29.7 x 29.7 cm.

It is 8.5 mm thick. The edges are rectified, so it can be set with a tight grout joint. It is rated for medium to high commercial traffic. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself does not need sealing.

It suits living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms, hallways away from the entry door, kitchen backsplashes, shower and bathroom walls, feature walls and busy commercial floors such as stores and offices. Pick it when you want the floor or wall to sit quietly behind the cabinets and fixtures.

Each box holds 11 pieces and covers 10.44 sq ft, so a 150 sq ft living room floor takes 15 boxes, or 16 boxes with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 11 boxes with the 10% extra included.

No outdoor rating is listed, so keep it indoors: no porches, patios or exterior walls. On a floor, keep the polished face out of showers and away from entry doors where wet boots come in, because it gets slick when wet.

In this size, Regal also comes in Blue, Charcoal Black, Chocolate Brown, Cream and Dark Grey. Grey also comes in 12" x 24" and 2" x 2".

Our own crews install it, so the people who measure the job are the people who answer for it. See Olympia Tile Regal Grey in person at our Mississauga showroom (700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, 905-277-2227) or our Barrie showroom (112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4, 705-726-2272).
