Olympia Tile Regal Blue Matte Porcelain Tile 12" x 12"

A plain, solid-colour tile is the safe base for a room, since it works with any cabinet, vanity or wall colour. Regal Blue is that kind of tile.

In simple terms: Regal Blue is a 12x12 porcelain tile for floors and walls, indoors.

It is the matte finish in Blue from the Olympia Tile Regal range. The actual size is 11.69" x 11.69", or 29.7 x 29.7 cm.

It is 9.2 mm thick. The edges are rectified, so it can be set with a tight grout joint. It carries a High Plus commercial traffic rating, the top commercial rating listed. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself does not need sealing.

It suits kitchen floors, bathroom floors, hallways, basements, shower and bathroom walls and busy commercial floors such as stores and offices. Pick it when you want the floor or wall to sit quietly behind the cabinets and fixtures.

Each box holds 11 pieces and covers 10.44 sq ft, so a 40 sq ft bathroom floor takes 4 boxes, or 5 boxes with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 11 boxes with the 10% extra included.

No outdoor rating is listed, so keep it indoors: no porches, patios or exterior walls.

In this size, Regal also comes in Charcoal Black, Chocolate Brown, Cream, Dark Grey and Grey. Blue also comes in 12" x 24" and 24" x 24".

Our own crews install it, so the people who measure the job are the people who answer for it. See Olympia Tile Regal Blue in person at our Mississauga showroom (700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, 905-277-2227) or our Barrie showroom (112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4, 705-726-2272).
