Olympia Tile Picket White Matte Porcelain Mosaic 8.5" x 10"

A shower floor has to slope to the drain. Small pieces on a mesh sheet are what let the tile follow that slope, and the extra grout lines give your feet more grip.

In simple terms: Picket White is an 8.5x10 porcelain mosaic for floors and walls, indoors.

It is the matte finish in White from the Olympia Tile Picket range. The pattern or piece type is picket. Each sheet measures 8.46" x 9.76", or 21.5 x 24.8 cm.

It is 8 mm thick. It is rated for light commercial traffic. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself does not need sealing.

It suits shower floors, bathroom floors, backsplashes and accent strips in a shower. Pick it over a larger tile wherever the floor has to slope or the wall needs a detail.

Each sheet covers 0.58 sq ft, so a 40 sq ft bathroom floor takes 69 sheets, or 76 sheets with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. It is sold by the sheet, so you order exactly the count you need. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 190 sheets with the 10% extra included.

No outdoor rating is listed, so keep it indoors: no porches, patios or exterior walls. Its commercial rating is light traffic, so keep it out of busy commercial floors.

In this size, Picket also comes in Beige and Light Grey.

Our own crews install it, so the people who measure the job are the people who answer for it. See Olympia Tile Picket White in person at our Mississauga showroom (700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, 905-277-2227) or our Barrie showroom (112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4, 705-726-2272).
