Olympia Tile Picket Light Grey Glossy Porcelain Mosaic 8.5" x 10"

A mosaic is the easiest way to give a backsplash, a niche or a shower wall some detail without changing the whole room.

In simple terms: Picket Light Grey is an 8.5x10 porcelain mosaic for dry floors and walls, indoors.

It is the glossy finish in Light Grey from the Olympia Tile Picket range. The pattern or piece type is picket. Each sheet measures 8.46" x 9.76", or 21.5 x 24.8 cm.

It is 8 mm thick. It is rated for light commercial traffic. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself does not need sealing.

It suits backsplashes, feature walls, shower walls and small accents in a dry floor. Pick it as the feature, and run a plain field tile around it.

Each sheet covers 0.58 sq ft, so a 30 sq ft kitchen backsplash takes 52 sheets, or 57 sheets with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. It is sold by the sheet, so you order exactly the count you need. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 190 sheets with the 10% extra included.

No outdoor rating is listed, so keep it indoors: no porches, patios or exterior walls. On a floor, keep the glossy face out of showers and away from entry doors where wet boots come in, because it gets slick when wet. Its commercial rating is light traffic, so keep it out of busy commercial floors.

In this size, Picket also comes in Beige and White.

Our own crews install it, so the people who measure the job are the people who answer for it. See Olympia Tile Picket Light Grey in person at our Mississauga showroom (700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, 905-277-2227) or our Barrie showroom (112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4, 705-726-2272).
